Let us recommend a unique Vermont experience.

Treat your senses during the Annual Vermont Maple Open House Weekend held mid-March each year. Take in the inviting aroma of boiling sap, watch the steam rising from our sugarhouses, and taste the sweet flavor of Vermont maple syrup as enjoyed in traditional sugar-on-snow.

The Stone Hill Inn offers a 10% discount on lodging during the Annual Vermont Maple Open House Weekend.

Sugarhouses across the state will open their doors and offer tours of their sugarhouses and woods, as well as maple candy-making demonstrations.

Enjoy live music, horse-drawn sleigh rides, sugar-on-snow, and of course, sample and purchase Vermont maple syrup and maple-themed delicacies. There will be maple donuts, maple cotton candy, maple creemees, and other maple goodies.

The Stone Hill Inn is nestled less than 6 miles away from the Nebraska Knoll Sugar Farm. On both Saturday and Sunday, Nebraska Knoll Sugar Farm will be open from 10 am to 4 pm. Come and explore this sugar farm’s combination of “old and new,” featuring a wood-fired evaporator and a reverse osmosis machine that concentrates the sap. There will be tours, sugar-on-snow, maple products for sale, and, weather permitting, boiling.
