  • 3-Course Sunlit Breakfast in Stowe Vermont

Mornings at Stone Hill Inn begin slowly, sweetly, and filled with sunlight. Sunlit Breakfast Mornings at Stone Hill Inn begin slowly, sweetly, and filled with sunlight. Our included three-course breakfast is a celebration of Vermont flavors, thoughtfully prepared and served in one of Stowe’s most beautiful dining rooms. With high ceilings, forty windows, and private tables for each guest room, the space fills with early light and the welcoming scent of fresh coffee and warm pastries. Sip of Sunrise Start your morning with a fresh cup of our locally roasted coffee, now available by the bag so you can take a little sunshine home with you. In addition to our regular brew, we serve specialty coffee drinks during breakfast. Choose from a rich double espresso, smooth cappuccino, classic latte, or refreshing iced latte — all available for an additional charge. 1st and 2nd Course Begin your breakfast with a pairing of fresh seasonal fruit and a warm, house-baked pastry. Both are served together and change daily to reflect the season. Main Course Next, choose your favorite of three options. One savory, like a fluffy omelet, a French herbed scramble, or another creative egg dish. One sweet, often Todd’s famous pancakes in flavors like lemon blueberry, raspberry, cinnamon, apple cinnamon, or classic buttermilk. Or something simple and hearty, like Vermont oatmeal with fresh berries. Classic Savory Sweet Come hungry. Leave happy. Celebrate life together. We partner with Vermont farmers and local producers whenever we can. Meats, yogurt, cheese, granola, coffee, and breads all reflect the quality and richness of this region. The coffee, roasted just down the road by Movement Coffee Roasters, is bold, smooth, and perfect for starting the day. Breakfast is served at 8:00 a.m., but if you're heading out early to ski or golf, just let us know and we’ll have you covered. With advanced notice, we can accommodate gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary restrictions. Explore Guestrooms WHAT COUPLES ARE SHARING “Green Mountain Views All Around” I know we will return again soon. The Inn rests on top of a hill with Green Mountain views all around. The owners and staff are outstanding; they define the true meaning of customer service. The breakfasts were wonderful. The room was warm and comfortable. TripAdvisor guest WHAT COUPLES ARE SHARING “Special AIP Breakfast Every Morning” Kristie and Todd are the most welcoming hosts you could ever ask for. The inn, the rooms, the grounds are all beautiful and just as welcoming as the hosts. I have food allergies and they even make me a special AIP breakfast every morning that is delicious! We always stay at Stone Hill when we are in the Stowe area. Sjordanlevesque – Waterville, Maine WHAT COUPLES ARE SHARING “We loved the vegan accommodations” Incredibly lovely couple Kristie and Todd. We loved the vegan accommodations..from the bottom of our hearts thank you so much. We stayed in the Catamount ..lovely room and amazing bathroom..private slider..had fun playing pool and sitting by the fire. Tony is amazing. Truly a lovely “Pre-moon.” Sarah R, Google Review WHAT COUPLES ARE SHARING “Cheers to Health and Happiness!” They made everything so easy and enjoyable! Before our stay I had called Kristie, as I am on AIP, and the dietary restrictions make it hard to travel. She knew exactly what I needed. We talked for over a half hour. She made special breakfasts for me each morning, that were completely amazing! She made our reservations for the things we wanted to do and even called a restaurant to explain to them what I could and couldn’t have. Gena Rae WHAT COUPLES ARE SHARING “All I can say is WOW!” The best part was coming back from a long day and finding gluten free chocolate cupcakes waiting for me. All I can say is WOW! My wife and I can’t say enough good things about Stone Hill Inn. Great rooms very spacious, fabulous grounds and unmatched Texas sized hospitality. I say Texas sized because that’s where the owners Kristie and Todd used to reside before they decided to move their family to beautiful Vermont. Each morning of our stay Todd prepared us a fantastic breakfast and my being gluten free wasn’t ever an issue. I told them ahead of time of my food preference and things couldn’t have been better. Todd arranged dinner for us one night at a restaurant downtown (the name escapes me) and it had to be one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten with mushrooms to die for. Bob T, TripAdvisor WHAT COUPLES ARE SHARING Rest, Warmth and Experience of Beauty We couldn’t have found a better home away from home for our weekend in VT. Accommodations were luxurious and comfortable - with a jacuzzi, a fire place connected to the bathroom and bedroom, and homemade breakfasts that would rival the most spectacular restaurants. Todd & Kristie have curated a gorgeous landing place for anyone seeking rest, warmth and an experience of beauty. Isabella, Google Review WHAT COUPLES ARE SHARING "Unforgettable Honeymoon" Found this gem online and booked their suite, the Catamount Room, for our honeymoon . The online pictures don’t do this place justice. Kristie and Todd are amazing people, a true representation of hospitality. Not only did they open up their beautiful home to us, but they were there to help with planning our time in VT, arranged for a fabulous dinner out, and made us feel at home. The breakfasts were simple and tasty, a perfect start to the day. Thank you for making our honeymoon unforgettable. Dawn K, Connecticut WHAT COUPLES ARE SHARING “We dream about going back” No wonder my boyfriend chose the place to propose during the most beautiful morning, watching the snow fall slowly while eating pancakes. The guests are served with premium service, the breakfast is amazing. The location is very good, between the ski station and the city. The housekeeping was wonderful and everyone made sure we had everything we needed. Guest – Brasilia, DF, Brazil WHAT COUPLES ARE SHARING “Serene Gem. Top-Notch Gourmet” What a wonderfully serene gem to stay in! Breakfast (included) is top-notch gourmet, with freshly cut fruits and so-much-more (and far superior to the big-name hotel breakfasts). It is our first experience at a B&B in Vermont (we are Vermonters so don’t often choose to getaway in our own state), but we would love to come back for another romantic getaway and look forward to staying here during the winter months as well. Jessica and Steven B WHAT COUPLES ARE SHARING “Out of this world” We had a wonderful time at Stone Hill Inn. The room was gorgeous and comfortable and the breakfast was out of this world. Angela H WHAT COUPLES ARE SHARING "This is your place!” The breakfasts were so delicious, fresh, and filling that after Day 1, we cancelled our plans for breakfast outings elsewhere so that we could eat at Stone Hill every morning instead. Jill and Bill S WHAT COUPLES ARE SHARING "I would come back for the breakfast alone!" The three-course breakfast is just to die for–seriously, I would come back for the breakfast alone. It’s all freshly prepared each morning and a great way to start off the day! Colleen T

My wife and I spend August and September in Vermont every year to be near our children and grandchildren and to escape the heat of the Sonoran Desert in Arizona. I found Stone Hill on the internet and immediately knew this was the place to celebrate and relax. The hospitality, the meals and the room were the very best possible. We hope to return in the near future. Richard K, Arizona, Guest on TripAdvisor WHAT COUPLES ARE SAYING "Made the Right Choice - 50th Anniversary" These Vermonters made the right choice and would come again! Very special. Lap of luxury! We were greeted and toured by gracious innkeepers. Their lovely gardens were scheduled to be on the annual Stowe Garden Tour the next day. Breakfasts in the sunny dining area were excellent...especially loved the maple pastries. TripAdvisor review, Guests from Vermont WHAT COUPLES ARE SAYING "Lived Up to the Reviews" It’s as wonderful as all the other 5 star reviews. We were looking for a really nice place for our 35th anniversary and booked Stone Hill based on the Trip Advisor reviews. Being a couple of nerds (we met at a Tech School in Cambridge, MA) we enjoyed the really nice game room; work and home responsibilities have cut into our play time so it was a nice place to unwind. TripAdvisor Guest from Connecticut WHAT COUPLES ARE SAYING “Personal touches make Stone Hill Inn THE place to stay in Vermont” This is our new anniversary tradition! Every detail phenomenal. The game room was a comfortable place to hang out with movies, chess, billiards and more. Every nook and cranny was immaculately clean and well-maintained (yes, we did explore the place!). Todd and Kristie were so helpful, friendly, and creative. They really take personal pride in the inn and every detail of their facilities, service, and quality of experience. If you are looking for antique furniture and an old-fashioned vibe, this is not the place for you. However, if you want an allergy-friendly, pristine, best-friend-by-the-fireplace feel, this is your place! We have stayed at other B&Bs many times but were so impressed with this one (Todd and Kristie’s special attention to detail make this exceptional), that we booked for next year as we were checking out from this year’s stay. Jill, TripAdvisor WHAT COUPLES ARE SAYING “Couple’s Massage (Heavenly by the Way)” Picturesque, Peaceful, and Wonderfully Romantic We stayed at Stone Hill Inn for our 10th wedding anniversary . From the moment we booked the reservation we were thrilled with Kristie and Todd’s attentiveness. Their assistance in booking our couple’s massage (heavenly by the way), dinner reservations, and guided hike (amazing time with a superb guide) was a wonderful treat. We had not a thing to worry or stress about. Our room was spectacular with a great view of the gardens and waterfall. Breakfast was catered to my fussy eating and was delicious. We were so thrilled with our stay we have already booked to go back and have even added another night. We highly recommended Stone Hill Inn. As we’ve been lucky enough to travel the world this gem in our backyard was a wonderful surprise. TripAdvisor guest, Connecticut WHAT COUPLES ARE SAYING “Awesome!” We had a great anniversary stay at Stone Hill Inn . We were married here one year ago, and it was awesome coming back. Guest Review on Google WHAT COUPLES ARE SAYING “First class accommodations perfect for a romantic getaway” This was our fourth visit, each time for an anniversary, and Stone Hill Inn never lets us down. The remarkably well-appointed room, its featured fireplace, Jacuzzi-for-two, and sled king bed are very well complemented by the staff’s attention to detail, and, perhaps above all, how unobtrusive they are in providing for everything. We will keep returning as long as we can. TripAdvisor guests WHAT COUPLES ARE SAYING “Excellent Stay” After searching for a special New England weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary, I came across Stone Hill Inn. It exceeded every expectation I had. Kristie and Todd are genuinely devoted to ensuring every need was met. From the beautifully manicured grounds to the amazing room, no detail was overlooked. It is a perfect place to stay and we look forward to coming back to experience another season at Stone Hill Inn. TripAdvisor guests from Boston, Massachusetts WHAT COUPLES ARE SAYING “Such a wonderful getaway” My husband and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The room was beautiful, the package we choose exceeded our expectations! Can’t wait to go back. If you want nothing but peace and tranquillity come to Stone Hill Inn! Boston, Massachusetts, Guest on TripAdvisor WHAT COUPLES ARE SAYING "Best B&B Ever" The grounds are gorgeous. Snow shoeing, 2 sledding hills and multiple acres of prestige perfection. The pool table and Nintendo wii was also a great touch The room could not have been more spectacular. The bed was so comfortable and large, a fire place in the bedroom that also opened up to the bathroom in front of the wonderful jacuzzi tub. Thank you Kristie and Todd for an amazing stay and hospitality for our 2 year anniversary, Valentine’s Day and Skiing long weekend! Brad, Windsor Locks, Connecticut WHAT COUPLES ARE SAYING "Anniversary Getaway" My husband and I stayed at the inn for 5 days to celebrate our anniversary. We have stayed in many upscale inns and hotels but the Stone Hill Inn is unlike any place we’ve stayed! Kristie and Todd are so kind, accommodating, and welcoming! The grounds are beautiful and very well kept! We stayed in the Catamount room and it was gorgeous! They literally thought of everything, right down to candles around our jacuzzi tub!!! We already miss it and plan on coming back next year!!!!! This Inn truly is deserving of the 5 star rating! Jessica, Gardner, Massachusetts WHAT COUPLES ARE SAYING “We will definitely be back!” Staying at the Stone Hill Inn was such a romantic and relaxing way to spend our wedding anniversary. Kristie, Todd, and Tony were all such great hosts! The Inn was beautifully secluded on a hill in the woods with a fire pit and swing set. They also provided supplies for winter activities including a toboggan and snowshoes. Inside, there is a game room with a pool table, board games, video games and fully stocked with movies. Our room was perfect with a canopy bed, hot tub, and a double-sided fireplace facing the hot tub and the bedroom. Google Review
