The West Branch room was perfect. Highly suggest booking well in advance so you can have a more private end of the hall room. The patio is nice and you can head off for a little walk around the trail on the property. The inn is in a great location a couple miles from town. So much to see and do. Perfect weather in August. The inn was beautifully decorated for Christmas, we had snow pretty much every day (enough, but not too much), the Town of Stowe was having their Christmas celebrations, and Todd and Kristie (and Tony, too!) made sure we were well taken care of. Booked a stay over the labor day weekend for my boyfriend and I to celebrate his birthday. It was our first time in Stowe and the Stone Hill Inn. The 2 person jacuzzi and double sided fireplace in our room were fantastic. Also, I can’t stress enough how CLEAN and fresh smelling our room was. From the bathroom to the carpets to the bed linens to the drapes it was pristine. Like most people my boyfriend and I choose places based on reviews and pictures and this place did not disappoint. The breakfast was top notch and made fresh to order. We also loved that although the inn only has 9 rooms it was very spacious. The only time we ever saw other couples was in the dining room in the morning. Otherwise it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Definitely deserves 5 stars! We went the first week in December and I truly had my “Hallmark” experience. The snow was gorgeous, the inn was warmly inviting and absolutely gorgeous! Todd and Kristie are perfect hosts making sure that we had anything and everything we needed. The breakfasts were phenomenal and our room was perfect right down to the pillows and mattress. We live only 40 minutes from Stowe, neither of us had ever been here or heard of it, but that was one of the major draws! It’s off the beaten path, no kids, small, quiet, clean, cozy, and the owners Todd and Kristie were AMAZING! LOVED the double-sided fireplace and jacuzzi tub in the room! To top it all off they provide an amazing breakfast! A do not skip for sure! I’ve never seen or ate a more perfect French omelet!
